Corrections Deputy Daniel Thorpe collapsed while on duty. He was walking to the lobby from his unit after receiving a call to come up front. Staff tried to revive him but were not successful. Deputy Thorpe died of a heart attack.Corrections Deputy Thorpe is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughter Addy and son Allenton.
