On October 6, Correctional Peace Officers Foundation Field Representative Vanessa O’Donnell had the honor of presenting at the State of Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) Town Hall Meeting.

During her presentation, Vanessa shared information about the Foundation’s mission of Taking Care of Our Own—introducing DJJ staff to the many ways CPOF supports correctional employees and their families nationwide. She discussed the Foundation’s Catastrophic Assistance Program, Scholarship Program, and opportunities for membership involvement and volunteer service.

Vanessa’s engaging presentation helped raise awareness of CPOF’s impact within the correctional community and emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and preparedness when unforeseen challenges arise. Her professionalism and enthusiasm reflect the dedication of CPOF’s Field Representatives across the country, who work tirelessly to connect with correctional staff at every level.
