Currently attending Sam Houston State University, Elena is building a future grounded in hard work, perseverance, and a desire to create opportunities not only for herself, but for those around her.

Raised in a single-parent household, Elena learned early that success often requires resilience. While balancing academics, part-time work, family responsibilities, and helping care for her siblings, she remained committed to her education and her long-term goals.

Elena believes education is the pathway to lasting change. She hopes to develop the skills needed to build a meaningful career while giving back to her community and supporting others who face similar challenges.
