Shauntia Brown attended her first PROJECT 2000 in 2018 with her Honor Guard Team out of Shelby County, Tennessee.  Since then, she has become a vital member of the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation’s National Honor Guard Team.

At PROJECT 2000 in Reno, Nevada, in June of 2022, we sat down with Sergeant Brown to discuss what CPOF and the Honor Guard meant to her.  With registration for PROJECT 2000 XXXV opening in a little over a month, we think it’s important to share what it meant for her to be a part of the event.
