After a search conducted consisting of the best of the best correctional honor guard team members across the nation, CPOF’s National Honor Guard Commander Raymond Gonsalves is proud to announce the newest member of the team, Captain Douglas Abbott of SCI Somerset in Pennsylvania.  Captain Abbott served in the United States Marine Corp prior to beginning his career in corrections. Captain Abbott has been a part of the SCI Somerset Honor Guard team since 2008, 5 years ago, he became the commander of that team.
