Detention Officer Alvin Glenn was attacked and murdered during an escape attempt at the county jail. He was locking prisoners back in their cells when he was overpowered by three inmates who handcuffed him, beat him and strangled him to death. Officer Glenn was the only Officer to oversee the 64 inmates in the medium security area.
