Correctional Officer Sonia Dickens

Correctional Officer Sonia Dickens of Sanford Correctional Center in North Carolina was recently assisted by CPOF. Officer Dickens’ husband was tragically killed in an automobile accident on March 14, 2023. Officer Dickens, your Correctional Family is there for you.  

Correctional Officer Elizabeth Alvarado-Solorio

Correctional Officer Elizabeth Alvarado-Solorio of Salinas Valley State Prison was recently assisted by CPOF. Her house and vehicle were deemed a total loss after a storm. We were glad to be there taking care of our own!    

John Berlanga

John Berlanga of CCI was a member of CPOF for 20 years until his retirement.  On February 6, 2023, John passed away.  CPOF was there to help his daughter with burial expenses. Below is a photo of John and his daughter on his graduation day.

PROJECT 2000 XXXIV Memorial Service

CPOF’s annual memorial service, held at PROJECT 2000, took place on June 16, 2023.
