Florida Field Representative John Kolodziej shares a recent experience presenting a catastrophic assistance check to Sergeant Leonard White.

In April 2024, Sergeant Leonard White was working at Century Correctional Institution.  During the course of his duties, he was attacked by an inmate knocking him to the ground and continuing to batter him.  Sergeant White sustained injuries that required immediate and ongoing medical treatment.  CPOF was there to assist him following the attack.  Pictured (left to right) are Sergeant White and Warden Robert Flores
