On September 28, 2023 General Trader Brandon Hulsey and Maintenance Engineer Jeffrey Welborn were working on a return loop hot water pump when the pipe connecting to the pump ruptured. The rupture released steam under extreme pressure diagonally from the pipe. Both men were transported to the hospital and treated for extreme burns from the steam.
