The Correctional Peace Officers Foundation (CPOF) exists because of people like you—those who believe in the power of community, compassion, and commitment to supporting our own. As we continue to grow, we rely on dedicated individuals within correctional facilities across the country to help us expand our reach and strengthen our mission.
Every facility needs someone to be the eyes and ears on the ground—a liaison who can recognize when a staff member is in crisis, share information about CPOF’s mission, and help grow a network of support through membership.
That person could be you.
Becoming a CPOF Facility Contact means being a vital part of our effort to “Take Care of Our Own.” It means helping spread awareness, distributing applications and flyers, and connecting fellow staff with the resources we offer. But most importantly, it means being there when your coworkers need someone most.
Whether you’re a longtime member or just learning about the Foundation, there are many ways you can help:
-
Share what CPOF does with new hires and fellow officers.
-
Keep an eye out for staff who may need assistance and help them connect with us.
-
Host or support membership drives and appreciation events.
-
Encourage payroll deduction or bank draft participation for ongoing support.
-
Stay in touch with your Regional or Field Representative for the latest resources and materials.
Membership growth isn’t just about numbers—it’s about strengthening the safety net for all correctional staff and ensuring no one faces hardship alone.
You don’t need a title to make an impact—you just need heart.
If you’re interested in stepping up as a Facility Contact or simply want to learn more about how you can help, reach out to us today. Together, we can continue building a network of support that spans the nation—one facility at a time.
