Lisa Cathey, a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse at Allen Gamble Correctional Center, passed away from cancer on March 9, 2025. Her loss was deeply felt by her colleagues and all who knew her.

Lisa’s family was referred to our Catastrophic Assistance Program by CPOF Volunteer Field Representative Debbie Moore. With the support of Warden Michael Miller and Debbie, CPOF was honored to present assistance to Lisa’s daughter, Taylor Hendley, to help with funeral expenses during this incredibly difficult time.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences remain with Taylor and all who loved Lisa.
