Oklahoma State Reformatory | OK

Corporal Landreth Emswiler, who served at the Oklahoma State Reformatory, tragically lost his life in a head-on collision on February 6, 2025. His daughters, Carissa (17) and Elise (11), were also in the vehicle and did not survive. His 8-year-old son, Merrick, was critically injured and airlifted for emergency medical care.

The Emswiler family was referred to the Catastrophic Assistance Program by CPOF Field Representative Debbie Moore, Warden William Rankins, and Human Resources Manager IV Denise Webb. The CPOF Board of Directors and its supporting members were honored to extend assistance to the family during this heartbreaking time.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Emswiler family. Our hearts are with Beverly, Sophia, and Merrick as they face unimaginable grief and navigate this tragic loss and the difficult days ahead.
