Tennessee Correctional Officer Richard Williams suffered significant injuries and the complete loss of his home during a devastating tornado that swept through the state. He sustained multiple broken ribs and other minor injuries, and his wife was also hurt. Tragically, his ex-wife and daughter, who lived on the same property, lost their lives in the storm.

Officer Williams was referred to our Catastrophic Assistance Program by Warden Shawn Phillips and Correctional Administrator Bradley Trate. On behalf of the CPOF Board of Directors and our supporting members, we were honored to present an assistance check to Officer Williams.
