Hurricane Helene – Georgia

CPOF’s catastrophic assistance program has remained busy helping those that were affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene.

Correctional Officer Sheila Pierce of Emmanual Detention Center is presented with a catastrophic assistance packet by Warden Jessie Williams after she suffered damages due to Hurricane Helene. A tree fell on her home causing extensive damages.

Correctional Officer Crystal Johnson of Johnson State Prison in Georgia is presented with a catastrophic assistance packet by Warden Jessie Williams after Hurricane Helene caused trees to fall on her home, damaging the siding and onto her car.

Correctional Officer III Courtney Thomas was presented by a catastrophic assistance packet by Warden Jessie Williams. Three trees fell onto her home as a result of Hurricane Helene causing extensive damage.

Sergeant Debby Graham was presented with a catastrophic assistance check by Warden Jessie Williams after part of a tree went through a wall of their home during Hurricane Helene.

Correctional Officer III Karen Mcgruder was presented by a catastrophic assistance check by Warden Jessie Williams after a tree fell onto her home during Hurricane Helene.
