On behalf of the Board of Directors, CPOF office staff, field representatives, and volunteers, we would like to wish you and your family Happy Holidays, a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
This is a very special time of year. For most, it’s filled with the company of family and friends, something that we miss out on during the hustle and bustle of the year. In Corrections, it takes on a different meaning. The majority are working behind the walls ensuring the safety of our community from those deemed too dangerous to live among us. Our families celebrate on a non-traditional day, in our own ways. We walk into danger each day intending to make it home that night.
Thank you for being a part of the light in corrections. For being part of our family and supporting our brothers and sisters in their darkest hours. For holding up and honoring the families of the fallen who didn’t make it home after their shift.
As we enter our 41st year as an organization, I continue to be inspired by the work being done around me. Every day, we are changing lives for the better. We are assisting families through natural disasters, catastrophic medical experiences, the loss of loved ones, and assaults by incarcerated felons. Together, we are truly making a difference.
We wish to thank you for your continued support of this fine organization. We are all looking forward to a prosperous, healthy New Year where we continue with our motto of “Taking Care of Our Own.”
Be safe, be well, and God Bless.
