Sergeant Charles Dye of Lakeview Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility in New York was recently referred to CPOF by Sherri Malek.  In July of 2024, Sergeant Dye had a stroke while on-duty. He was admitted to the hospital for several days. Since then he has been placed on a heart monitor as well as medication and follow-up appointments to try and find the cause of the stroke. He is unable to be cleared to go back to work until a cause can be identified.
