The Alexander Correctional Institution in Taylorsville, North Carolina houses close custody offenders in single cells and minimum-custody offenders in dormitories in a 252-bed minimum-security unit.

Sergeant Jennifer Parker and Captain Stephanie Miller wanted to promote awareness for Women working in the Corrections profession. They designed and sold t-shirts and hot dogs to raise $3,696.00!  The officers then donated those funds to the CPOF catastrophic assistance program to help correctional staff throughout the nation.
