In May of 2024, Correctional Officer V Brandy Ortega’s house was hit by a tornado. Her Texas home was severely damaged.  CPOF was there to help Officer Ortega of the Lane Murray Unit with Texas Department of Criminal Justice in her time of need thanks to the supporting membership and the catastrophic assistance program.
