On July 19, 2023, Correctional Officer Chelsea Bennett’s husband suffered a stroke.

The stroke left him with no motor function on the right side of his body and unable to speak.  He will continue to undergo a significant amount of rehab.  CPOF was able to be there to offer catastrophic financial assistance through our catastrophic fund.  Our catastrophic fund is solely funded by our supporting membership.  Thank you for this lovely note Officer Bennett.  CPOF and our your correctional family continues to keep your family in our thoughts.
