Community Supervision District 9 annual Employee Appreciation Day

Working in Corrections is often a thankless job. It’s a job that is often considered invisible. Society wants criminals locked away from their communities, but they often don’t think about where that person is going to be during the duration of their sentence. And they rarely consider the brave individuals that work to keep them locked away, fed, cared for and maintained during their sentence.

Community Supervision District 9 invited CPOF to their annual Employee Appreciation Day. One of CPOF’s priorities is to ensure that correctional positions are respected and treated with the dignity they are entitled to.

The staff of District 9 raised $500.00 for CPOF and presented that to North Carolina Field Representative Laura Matthews.
