Jim Brown as not only a board member, but he also retired as a Lieutenant at Folsom State Prison and continued to run the prison museum for over 20 years following his retirement.

His celebration of life was held near the ground of Folsom State Prison and his last call was broadcast simultaneously at the celebration and on prison ground.
