Each year for PROJECT 2000, Honor Guard teams from across this great nation come together to honor the correctional staff who have lost their lives in the line of duty.  For each attendee, the experience is different. For each member of an Honor Guard team, what inspires them to be a part of something so important is different. With PROJECT 2000 being in June each year, many of these team members are choosing to be there for their correctional brothers and sisters instead of at graduations, weddings and other personal life events.
