The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction recently highlighted the ONLY member from that department that is a member of Correctional Peace Officer Foundation’s National Honor Guard Team.

Sgt. Michael Hire joined the National Honor Guard Team three years ago. He is from The Chillicothe Correctional Institution, the ONLY institution in Ohio that is a lifelong facility member of CPOF.

At PROJECT 2000 XXXIII in Reno, Nevada, we had the privilege to sit with Sgt. Hire and discuss what being a member of the CPOF National Honor Guard Team means to him.
