For Kaden Garcia, success isn’t measured by recognition—it’s measured by character.
The Correctional Peace Officers Foundation is proud to recognize Kaden Garcia as a 2026 CPOF scholarship recipient.
This fall, Kaden will attend Northeastern Junior College, where he will continue his education while competing as a collegiate baseball player. Beyond athletics, he is pursuing a future in the fire service, inspired by a desire to serve others and make a meaningful impact in his community.
Kaden credits his family for instilling the values that guide him today.
“Before I ever understood the meaning of success, I understood the value of work.”
Growing up, he watched the adults in his life demonstrate discipline, consistency, and perseverance every day. Those lessons became the foundation of his own character and continue to shape the way he approaches academics, athletics, and life.
On the baseball field, Kaden has learned resilience, patience, and leadership. He believes the challenges of athletics have prepared him for a career where teamwork, trust, and composure under pressure are essential.
His goal of becoming a firefighter reflects the same values he has carried throughout his life.
“Firefighters step into unpredictable situations not for recognition, but to protect others.”
As the son of Steven Garcia, who serves at the Cañon Minimum Centers in Colorado, Kaden understands the importance of serving something greater than yourself.
The Correctional Peace Officers Foundation is proud to support students like Kaden whose commitment to discipline, service, and hard work reflects the very best of the correctional family.
Congratulations, Kaden! We wish you success both on the field and in your future career serving your community.
