In Loving Memory of Linda Ruth Dizmon

On the evening of January 13, 2026, Linda Ruth Dizmon went home to be with the Lord. Surrounded by family, Linda passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering support for the correctional community.

Linda was a supporter of the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation from its very beginning. Her commitment to the mission was deeply personal—her husband, Steve Dizmon, was a founder of the CPOF National Honor Guard and its first Commander. Linda stood proudly beside him every step of the way, not only as a spouse, but as an active member of the Honor Guard family herself. She served on the team, supported countless events, and embodied the spirit of compassion, dedication, and selfless service that defines CPOF.

Born on May 31, 1947, in Oakland, California, Linda was the beloved daughter of Nick and Madeleine Analla and the oldest sibling to her brother Lonnie and sister Margie (Plant). She leaves behind her husband of more than 40 years, Steve, daughters Gina (Tod Sockman), Kara Alladio (Andy Plantaz), and Raquel Dizmon (Chad Eubank), and eight cherished grandchildren: Ella, Blake, Branden, Joie, Destiny, Audrey, Erin, and Jessica, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures—time with her family, tending to her garden, watching her favorite cooking shows (and Bar Rescue!), soaking up the sun by the pool, and enjoying a glass of chardonnay. Her bright, contagious smile could light up any room, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Linda’s presence within the CPOF family will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.

Services for Linda will be private, in accordance with the family’s wishes.

Memorial donations may be made in Linda’s name to the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation at www.cpof.org.

Rest in peace, Linda. You will always be part of the CPOF family. 💙
