PROJECT 2000: Honoring the Fallen, Supporting the Living

Registration Opens Monday, January 5, 2026

For more than three decades, the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation has brought the corrections community together for one sacred purpose: to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to stand beside the families left behind.

Since 1990, CPOF has hosted PROJECT 2000, an annual four-day gathering dedicated to recognizing correctional officers who lost their lives in the line of duty during the preceding year. PROJECT is more than an event β€” it is a promise that their service will never be forgotten and that their families will never stand alone.

We look forward to welcoming attendees to Salt Lake City in June 2026 as we continue this tradition of honoring the fallen and supporting those who carry on their legacy.
