The Correctional Peace Officers Foundation recently concluded a successful Leadership Training Week in California, bringing together members of our senior leadership and field representative teams from across the nation.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in collaborative workshops and strategy sessions designed to strengthen communication, enhance outreach efforts, and further CPOF’s mission of Taking Care of Our Own. The training provided an opportunity for sharing ideas, aligning goals, and refining programs that support correctional staff and their families in times of need.
The week concluded with an extraordinary tour of Folsom State Prison, offering attendees valuable perspective into one of California’s most historic and well-known correctional facilities. The visit underscored the importance of unity, professionalism, and mutual respect across all areas of corrections.
CPOF extends heartfelt appreciation to Folsom State Prison’s leadership and staff for their warm hospitality and for providing such a meaningful and educational experience. Their generosity in welcoming our team served as a fitting conclusion to a week focused on learning, growth, and shared commitment to the correctional profession.
As CPOF continues to expand its programs and outreach nationwide, the lessons learned and connections built during Leadership Training Week will help guide future initiatives that strengthen our Foundation and the communities we serve.
