How to Become a Sponsor

Corporate/Individual Lifetime Sponsor

A corporation, business or an individual becomes a Lifetime Sponsor of the CPO Foundation by donating $5,000. This donation usually is made in its entirely at one time; however, it can be made in increments if so desired by the entity desiring to be a Lifetime Sponsor.

Lifetime Facility Sponsor

Organizations, facilities and individuals who recognize the importance of the corrections industry, value and respect the contributions and sacrifices of corrections practitioners to the field of law enforcement, and wish to support correctional officers and their families in times of need are humbly invited to consider becoming Lifetime Sponsors of the CPOF.

A corporation, business or an individual becomes a Lifetime Sponsor of the CPO Foundation by donating $5,000. This donation usually is made in its entirely at one time; however, it can be made in increments if so desired by the entity desiring to be a Lifetime Sponsor. Corporations or individuals who recognize the importance of the Corrections industry, who value and respect the contribution of Corrections practitioners to the field of law enforcement, and who wish to support Correctional Officers and their families in times of need are invited to consider becoming Lifetime Sponsors of the CPO Foundation. Each Lifetime Corporate Sponsor receives a special Plaque from the CPO Foundation for display at the corporation’s headquarters. (Individual Lifetime Sponsors also receive a Plaque.) We hope that your corporation will decide to take this important step. Call us at 916-928-0061 or send an email to stephanie@cpof.org, and one day, perhaps quite soon, a Plaque will be on the wall at your place of business announcing that it is a Lifetime Corporate sponsor of the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation.

A Correctional Institution becomes a Lifetime Facility Sponsor of the CPO Foundation by donating $5,000. This donation usually is made in its entirely at one time; however, it can be made in increments if so desired by the institution desiring to be a Lifetime Facility Sponsor. Each Lifetime Facility Sponsor receives a Gold Jacket and a special Plaque from the CPO Foundation for display at the institution. We hope that your institution will decide to take this important step. Call us at 916-928-0061, or send an email to stephanie@cpof.org, and one day, perhaps quite soon, a Plaque and a Gold Jacket will be on the wall at your facility announcing that it is a Lifetime Facility Sponsor of the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation. Note: A Lifetime Facility Sponsorship does not equal or replace Supporting Membership in the CPO Foundation by an individual Correctional Officer or Corrections Professional.

Donations are usually made as a single lump sum. However, we are deeply appreciative of any and all donations, and accept donations made in installments.

All sponsors are recognized on the CPOF website’s Lifetime Sponsors page. In addition, Lifetime Sponsors receive a special plaque from the CPOF suitable for display at your place of business, facility, or home. In addition, Lifetime Sponsors receive a branded Gold Jacket, which you may choose to wear or put up for display.

No. Becoming a Lifetime Sponsor does not equal or replace supporting membership in the CPOF as an individual Correctional officer or corrections professional.
