2nd Annual Eastern Oregon Golf Tournament

Two Rivers Correctional Institution, Umatilla, Oregon:

The 2nd Annual Eastern Oregon Golf Tournament to benefit the CPO Foundation was played at Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick, Washington, on 08/23/2014 with a shotgun start of 7:30am.  We had 11 4-person teams participating in the 4-person scramble format. Teams participated from Oregon Corrections, Yakima County Corrections and a retiree team as well as the private sector and a Labor Union.

The following teams participated:

From Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (Pendleton, Oregon):
Team Galle – David Galle, Ricky Kautz, Darin Lindsey and Tommy Barker.
Team Wilson – Kyle Wilson, Reggie Freeman, Steve Riedman and Gunner Faller.
Team Hegge – Led by retired Sergeant Kenneth Hegge of Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution; he was joined by Tate Enright, Steve Fulton and Tom Wellington.

Team TRCI Health Services:  Cindy Dieter, Loren Dieter, Michelle Gaspar and Fred Gaspar.
Team TRCI Security:  Rich Nelson, Dennis Wolf, Mike Barrows and Brad Rogers.

Representing Tom Denchel Ford Country (Hermiston, Oregon):  The team of Stahl, Stahl, Stahl and Stahl.

Yakima County Corrections (Yakima, Washington):
Team VanKeulen – Reti. Sergeant Peter VanKeulen, Mike Cingle, Kevin Burress and Wayne Johnson of Teamsters Local 760.
Team Flascher  – Mike Flascher, Dusty Cliff, Travis Irion and Kevin Manz.
Team Downard – Doug Downard, Don Anderson, Kelly Fifer and Marv Mazie.

Representing American Federation of State, Municipal and County Employees (AFSCME) Council 75:
Team AFSCME – Tim Woolery, Randy Ridderbush, Don Loving and Roger Ware.

The Tournament was a lot of fun.  We had a putting contest, as well as longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt and best female golfer.
